New Travel Insurance Program For IIAANY Members Expands Clients' Options
Syracuse, NY (March 26, 2002) Members of the Independent Insurance Agents Association of New York can now access the association's newest member benefit: Trip-Protect. This exclusive program allows member agents direct and immediate access to the industry's leading travel insurance markets. With eight insurers representing more than 29 separate plans, agents can now deliver a most valuable and useful service to their clients, one that, until now, has been largely dominated by travel agents.
The new service offers IIAANY members full access to this rapidly growing market, which is currently experiencing a 40 percent increase in demand. "Trip-Protect gives agents the information to quote travel insurance for clients and help them make informed decisions quickly and accurately. All processes are completed online in real time, so there is no waiting for quotes or delays in policies being issued and shipped to clients," said IIAANY vice president Lisa Lounsbury.
Travel technology innovator IMT Services Corporation of Commack, NY, was selected to spearhead this new IIAANY initiative.
